Intersport Rent - Affinity Sports is now renting snowshoes. This ever growing sport is easy to learn, poses little risk of injury and is a great way to discover Whistler. Snowshoeing has come a long way since the olden days when they were made of hardwood and rawhide; snowshoes are now made of a lightweight metal, plastic and synthetic fabric to comfortably fit to the person's feet. We offer three types of snowshoes, the Venture 25, 30 and 35 by Tubbs. We stock a range of sizes to accommodate people from 100lbs to 250lbs. You will need to wear your own boots, ideally waterproof with a good pair of ski socks to make your time in snowshoes as comfortable as possible.

Guided snowshoe adventures can be arranged by the Adventure Group and they have a variety of tours dependant on your ability level. Alternatively you can explore the local trails without a guide. We would recommend the Lost lake trails which are 5 minutes away from the main village. The trails are rated from easy to adventurous and range from 1 hour to 3 hours in duration. What better way to get out and wander amongst the Wilderness in winter!
Our snowshoes are available for rent at our Clock Tower location (Affinity 5) and from our Glacier Lodge Location (Affinity 4).
