Like a page from a fairytale book, Whistler is one of the most magical places you will experience over Christmas. Blanketed in white snow, trees glistening with colourful lights and sounds of carolling through the village on Christmas Eve make for a true winter wonderland.
There are various Christmas festivities over the holiday to get you in the Christmas spirit. Many of the major hotels in the village hold Christmas Eve and Christmas day dinners and activities for both guests and public. The Fairmount Chateau holds carolling on Christmas Eve and a walk through of the decorations.
For those in Whistler for the snow, you will be pleased to know that the mountain is open on Christmas and Boxing Day. Enjoy breakfast with Santa in the Roundhouse Lodge, at the top of the mountain.
Get involved with various other true winter activities over the Christmas holidays such as sledging, tubing, ice skating, dog-sledging and snow showing for that total wintery experience.
Christmas is exceptionally one of the busiest times in Whistler so it is highly recommended that you book early to avoid any disappointment.
