Rossignol S7 Ski Review

Sold out! That’s the reply from the Rossignol rep. Every year for the last three years Rossignol has sold out of their S7 ski and every year they increase production. This big mountain ski aimed at high end powder hounds took the ski industry by storm and has become the poster boy for the new rocker skis. The s7 skis has low camber underfoot and rocker at the extended tip and tail. It is 115mm underfoot so gives ample floatation and was one of the first skis that allows easy smearing of turns to dump speed. This ski has a big brother called the Super7; basically the same ski with two layers of titanium added to beef things up for the professionals out there. Here is Kye Peterson, one of Whistler’s best and brightest ski stars ripping it up on a pair. The Affinity testing team can choose any ski from any company and one of our best skiers who rides for Extremely Canadian picks the S7 or Super S7 most days of the week. Once the snow phone hits 10cm or above drop by and try the Rossignol S7 or Super S7 and maybe if you are lucky you will find a pair left in the retail shops. Here is Gavin showing off the bases of his favorite skis.
